Midsummer Night Dreams Lemon Tea
A refreshing lemon tea just in time for summer
When life hands you lemons, make lemon tea! This tea blend is so much more than your average loose leaf herbal tea. This tea is fairly bitter when brewed without a sweetener. We suggest sweetening to taste with some raw honey.
This tea blend is so much more than your regular cuppa. It cries out to be made as sun tea, where you just set it in the window and let the summer sun work its magic. You can add a teaspoon of the dried herbs to a simple syrup (1 cup sugar – we like raw sugar to 1 cup water, and bring to a boil. After boiling for ten minutes, remove from the heat and add a tablespoon of the tea and let steep for 10 minutes) and then add the herbal simple syrup to scratch-made lemonade for a refreshing summer treat. And lastly, we will be sipping on this as iced tea on leisurely summer afternoons. Get creative and let us know how you prepare this!
Do not consume if you are allergic to any of the herbs in this tea. Do not use if you are advised against consuming citrus. Store in a cool, dry place.
